This role will be an integral member of the Singapore Marketing team - responsible for driving traffic, awareness, and conversions through the conceptualisation and execution of marketing initiatives. The role will be in charge of one of our most valuable communication channels: EDMs. With a user base of over one million diners, you have the ability to impact countless lives on a daily basis. Whether it's for user engagement, campaigns, content, or restaurant marketing, you will be expected to work with multiple stakeholders to craft emails and write copy that gets people moving.

The ideal candidate should be both creative and data-obsessed. You will need empathy to get into users' heads, an eye for aesthetics to ensure we have captivating visuals, a knack for killer copy that invokes action, and an analytical mindset to produce data-driven results. You will report directly to the Head of Marketing and play a pivotal role in driving Chope towards our next exciting phase of growth!

  • Manage, plan, and formulate EDMs as well as other creative assets for Chope's communications.
  • Conceptualise, write, and create graphics and/or wireframes for digital assets across channels.
  • Deliver results with respect to campaign management, content, creatives, data mining, A/B testing, optimizing and scaling for the Singapore market
  • Segment users based on relevant lifecycle and behavioural attributes to send targeted messages.
  • Work closely with Regional team to roll out CRM strategies to onboard, engage, upsell and prevent churn for our users
  • Drive local campaigns and other initiatives from end-to-end through multiple channels (email / In-app / Push, onsite, etc) with the right user segmentations that tap into the overall customer lifecycle / loyalty plan

Skills & experiences required

  • 1-2 years of digital marketing, creative writing, content creation, or similar experience in a fast paced consumer startup. Relevant internship experience in these fields is acceptable.
  • Strong writing ability and an excellent command of English language.
  • A passion in food and the dining scene in Singapore, as well as an interest in consumer technology.
  • Prior experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and / or Service Cloud is preferred
  • Basic understanding of HTML and experience with Adobe Illustrator.
  • Understanding of analytics platforms such as Google Analytics or Mixpanel is a plus.
