Responsible for managing all search engine optimization (SEO) activities on Chope app and website, the regional SEO specialist will be responsible for all

the scope includes all major search engines and social media networks across all our markets (Singapore, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Thailand and China), taking into account local market requirements. Analysing and creating content for improvements to increase brand awareness, organic traffic and ensuring relevant search results for our users.

The SEO Specialist will report to the Performance Marketing Manager, with a dotted line to the Brand Content Manager

About the role

  • Analyze and identify SEO growth opportunities through a structured approach of audits, competitive & web traffic analysis
  • Map out SEO Strategy and Roadmap, building frameworks and collaborating with regional team/ key stakeholders in Product and Marketing to develop them, and working closely with local markets to land them.
  • Develop and implement effective SEO strategies to improve organic traffic and page search ranking to maximise ROI
  • Create relevant, engaging and effective content and/or editing for app, websites, blog articles, meta page descriptions etc.
  • Create reports and dashboards for tracking, providing analysis and insights on SEO performance and identifying areas of optimisation to improve performance for paid and organic search campaigns
  • Define and own the achievement of objectives and measurable key results / KPIs for the SEO function
  • Disseminate SEO best practices and knowledge, to ensure continued focus on organic search as a core engine of organic performance
  • Stays at the forefront of all developments related to the industry including search ranking factors, and key algorithm updates.

What Are We Looking For:

  • At least 1 to 2 years of hands-on SEO experience with a track record of increasing organic traffic
  • Strong hands-on experience with organic search platforms such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, WordPress, Ahrefs, SEMRush and other SEO platforms are highly desirable
  • A subject matter expert in all core SEO areas, including but not limited to Content, Keyword Research, Technical SEO (UX, XML sitemaps), On-Page Optimization (Metadata, Headings, Navigation) and Off-Page Optimization (backlinks, domain etc.)
  • Good understanding of search engine marketing, content and brand marketing concepts to synchronize SEO strategies and solutions for maximum business impact
  • Curious, independent and proactive mindset, with the ability to be productive and efficient with minimal or no supervision in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
  • Self-starter who can work comfortably as an individual contributor and comfortable navigating through the organization to get things done
  • Having a passion for the food and beverage and technology ecosystem, particularly in the areas of dining, discovery, and deals.
