The Marketing Manager reports to the GM of Hong Kong and will assist in the conceptualisation, development, and execution of both strategic and tactical marketing initiatives. They will be required to strengthen Chope’s brand identity, grow its network of both diners and restaurants, and assist existing clients in improving their visibility and reservation numbers on Chope by executing regular online and offline campaigns.

The lean Chope HK team means that the ideal candidate has to be willing to get their hands dirty. They'll be expected to be able to measure the efficacy of their campaigns, and draw conclusions from the data available to them.

  • Design and drive user growth strategy for Hong Kong market, as the lead for HK marketing team (both B2B and B2C)
  • Acquire and manage quality partners and affiliates to increase Chope’s exposure as a reservations and e-commerce platform, strengthening relationships and exploring new means of improving reservation numbers and/or e-commerce sales
  • Manage campaigns and social media performance, guide the team to make data-driven decisions
  • Work closely with the GM and VP of Regional Marketing in the development of long-term marketing strategy to increase app downloads and improve reservation numbers
  • Work closely with the GM to improve and grow the spread of Chope marketing initiatives available to new and existing restaurant clients


Requirements

  • At least 5 years' experience in marketing with track record of successful user growth
  • Bold, driven and hungry for success
  • Experienced digital marketers with all round hands-on marketing experience
  • A strategic mindset with the ability to develop long-range plans and strategies based on a strong understanding of the market environment, competitive pressures, emerging technologies and trends.
  • High personal standards of attention to detail, delivering on commitments and process compliance
  • The humility to lead from the front and set an example for how the team should operate
  • A foodie, passionate in bringing the love for food to HK diners
  • Experience in managing marketing budgets
  • Able to communicate persuasively and eloquently in English and Cantonese (written and spoken)
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and results-driven

While not required, the following skills/experience will be favourably considered

  • Experience in food and beverage, hospitality or online companies
  • Has connections in food and beverage network
