Account Managers at Chope are one of the pillars of stability for the Singapore business. They report to the Head of Sales, and will be responsible for handling all after-sales matters, from system implementation, successful product adoption, to marketing success, and more. While a farming role, the Account Manager does have ambitious quarterly targets focused on contract renewals and system upgrades, and is compelled to sell paid marketing products to maximise revenue, and enable clients to reap the full benefits of being on the Chope platform.

What you’ll do:

  • Manage and cultivate strong client relationships by monitoring performance metrics, arranging regular check-ins, and offering marketing and promotional support to help clients maximise the utility that Chope provides as a platform
  • Up-sell/cross-sell SaaS products and/or services to restaurant decision makers
  • Up-sell paid marketing solutions to enable greater visibility and engagement for our restaurant partners
  • Work closely with the Operations and Product team members to facilitate successful product adoption and collect purposeful user insights
  • Constantly relay and generate feedback regarding potential product improvements, and strategic marketing initiatives for new and existing restaurant partners to our respective team leads
  • Manage client concerns and contract termination requests, to hopefully convert them into favourable outcomes and maximise retention
  • Assist the Collections team with pending payments from restaurant clients as required

Skills & experiences required:

  • 3-4 years of work experience (ideally, but exceptions can be made)
  • Able to communicate effectively & fluently in English with a broad range of audiences to demonstrate the values of Chope to our clients
  • Able to build positive, lasting relationships with clients
  • Able to be productive and efficient with minimal, or no supervision (because we work fast, and we are growing fast)
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and conscientious
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to coordinate complex issues with multiple stakeholders
  • A creative flair for marketing and interest in consumer success
  • A passion for food and the dining scene in Singapore, as well as an interest in consumer technology

    While not required, the following skills/experience will be favourably considered:

    • Prior B2B account management experience, preferably with products and services sold to restaurants and hotels
    • Prior B2B sales experience, preferably in SaaS or marketing services
    • Has own connections in food and beverage network
